HER & Kings County | Biography

  • Roachford

When you think of Southern influences, New York City probably doesn't come to mind.

But the big apple always had a great music scene and HER & Kings County are living proof. Their potent blend of NYC attitude and Southern Rock, has made them a NYC must see.

HER & Kings County is a band lead creatively and in energy by Monique Staffile, the main songwriter and co-founder along with Caleb Sherman. Monique ainʼt a pistol; sheʼs a shotgun.

She was born to be a lead singer. Wild, hypnotic, red hot, she prowls the stage like a leopard out for blood.

This power packed outfit writes their own songs, including the singles, “White Trash Country Boy” and „Where Did All the Money Go?“, but they always pay homage to their heroes at live shows with some of the best covers. The title track to their new CD "Raise a Little Hell", is a perfect example, covering the classic song written by their friends the Ozark Mountain Daredevils. They have toured non-stop playing hundreds of shows around the world with Kid Rock, Montgomery Gentry, Charlie Daniels, and Kellie Pickler among others. Though their tireless, never-ending, tour schedule is one that harks back to music tradition, HER is a sound that is young and fresh with a mixture of bluegrass, rock nʼ roll, hip-hop and southern rock. When they come to your town, get a ticket..

Join the Party and see what everyone is talking about!
